Transmission Mount, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

Replace bolts that were tightened with an additional turn after removing them.

-- Secure the transmission support to the longitudinal member.

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging the threads in the transmission by inserting bolts at an angle.

- Before inserting the bolts, align the transmission and the transmission mount support arm so that they are absolutely parallel to one another.

- If necessary, press up the rear transmission using a floor jack or the engine and transmission jack.

-- Check the adjustment of the subframe mount. Refer to ASSEMBLY MOUNT, CHECKING ADJUSTMENT .

-- Only remove the Engine Support Set :10-222A , when the assembly mount bolts are tightened to tightening specification. Refer to ENGINE, SUPPORTING IN INSTALLATION POSITION .

-- Install the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY TRAY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
