Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, LHD: Removing

-- Remove the driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to DRIVER SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the A-pillar lower trim panel. Refer to A-PILLAR LOWER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the driver side footwell vent. Refer to DRIVER SIDE FOOTWELL VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Open the tabs -arrows-.

-- Remove the Fuse Panel C -1- toward the rear from the bracket -2- and place down toward the front with the wires connected.

-- Remove the bolts -2 and 5-.

-- Disengage the bracket for the vehicle electrical system control module -1- on the instrument panel crossmember -4- toward the front -arrow-, to do so push the bracket upward until the pin -3- is disengaged.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1, 2 and 3-.

-- To disconnect the connector, press the tab -1-, turn the retaining bracket -arrow- and remove the connector.

-- Release the springs -arrow-, pivot the vehicle electrical system control module -4- out of the bracket -5- and remove it downward.
