If the control module is being replaced:

-- Perform the necessary function/functions, using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester . Refer to Diagnostic Entries .

-- Remove the driver side footwell vent. Refer to DRIVER SIDE FOOTWELL VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connectors -3-.

-- Remove the Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface -J533- -2- downward from the bracket -1-.
