-- Engage the parking brake.

-- Put the transmission in the "N" position.

Vehicles with shift by wire.

-- Remove the center console insert. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE INSERT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release the Selector Mechanism -EX2- controls -2- at the retainers -arrows-.

-- Remove the Selector Mechanism -EX2- controls -2- from the center console insert -1-.

-- Pry out the shift cover -1- using the Wedge Set - Wedge 2 :T10383/2  -2-.
