Control Module/Digital Sound System Amplifier, Removing And Installing, SPORTBACK: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment. Set the ignition key outside of the vehicle.

-- Loosen the back of the right luggage compartment side trim panel until the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- is accessible. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANELS, SPORTBACK .

-- Release and disconnect the connector -2- from the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525-.

-- If installed, release and disconnect the connectors -3- at the Parking Heater Radio Receiver -R64-.

-- If installed, release and disconnect the connectors -4- at the Peripheral Camera Control Module -J928-.

-- Release the retainers -arrows- from the bracket -1-.

-- Remove the bracket -1- with the control modules from the body and also the pin.

-- Release the retainers -arrows- from the bracket -1-.
