MECHATRONIC, Removing And Installing: Removing
The Dual-Clutch Transmission Mechatronic -J743- will be called mechatronic in the information that follows.
Tip
The Mechatronic can get stuck on the alignment pins when the transmission is hot. Let the transmission cool down.
-- Remove the transmission fluid pan. Refer to Transmission Fluid Pan, Removing and Installing .
-- If equipped, disconnect the connector -1- using the Speed Sender Release Tool :T10465 -2-.
-- Loosen and remove the screws -arrows- in a diagonal sequence.
-- Grab the mechatronic -1- at the mounting points -arrows-.
-- Carefully remove the mechatronic -1-.
-- Put down the mechatronic -1- with the sensors -arrows- facing upward.
