ATF Cooler, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

When inserting the ATF cooler -1- pay attention that the O-rings -2- are seated correctly.
The O-rings must be seated correctly in the groove of the ATF cooler.

CAUTION:

Danger of leaks due to twisting the O-rings

- Do not push the ATF cooler horizontally along the sealing surface.

- Place the ATF cooler onto the transmission from above.

-- Install the turbocharger air duct pipe/charge air cooler. Refer to OVERVIEW - CHARGE AIR SYSTEM .

-- Check the coolant level. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Check the ATF level. Refer to ATF .
