Driver Assistance Systems Front Camera -R242-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Switch off the ignition.

-- Move the ignition key outside of the vehicle to prevent switching on the ignition unintentionally.

-- Remove the front camera cover. Refer to OVERVIEW - INTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR .

-- Unclip the front camera -2- in -direction of the arrow A- from the clamps.

-- Remove the front camera -1- in -direction of the arrow B- from the retainer.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

Lens, Removing 

-- Release and disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Free up the lens wiring guide.

-- Release the hook -2-.

-- Remove the lens -1- in -direction of the arrow-.
