Left/Right Rear Parallel Parking Assistance Sensor -G716- / -G717-, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal, while noting the following:

CAUTION:

Malfunctions due to a wrong or damaged decoupling spring.

- Do not turn the decoupling spring on the sensor head.

- Replace the wrong or damaged decoupling spring.

-- Check the decoupling spring -3- at the parallel parking assistance sensor -1- for damage and replace if necessary.

-- Slide the connector -2- onto the parallel parking assistance sensor -1- and lock.

-- Install the parallel parking assistance sensor -1- into the bracket.

NOTE:

When inserting the parallel parking assistance sensor -1- into the sensor mount, make sure that the decoupling ring -3- is seated correctly on the sensor head.

The hooks of the sensor mount must lock when installing the parallel parking assistance sensor -1-.
