Front Axle Toe, Adjusting

-- Loosen the nut -2- to do this counterhold on the hex fitting -arrow A- on the tie rod -1-.

-- Loosen the tie rod -1- at the tie rod end -3-. Position a suitable tool on the hex fitting -arrow A- and -arrow B- for this.

-- Adjust the toe on left and right wheels by turning the hex fitting -arrow A-. At the same time counterhold on the hex fitting -arrow B-.

CAUTION:

Damage on the boots by turning the boot.

- Make sure that boot on steering gear is not damaged or twisted. Twisted boots wear out quickly.

- Tighten the lock nut for the threaded piece only when the vehicle is resting on the ground.

-- Tighten the lock nut -2-.

-- Check the toe specified value. Refer to appropriate Service Information .
