Windshield, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal, while noting the following:

Conditions

• Pay attention to INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR BONDED WINDOWS .

Undamaged window glass

-- Refer to UNDAMAGED WINDOW GLASS, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .

Continuation for all vehicles

New window glass

-- Refer to NEW WINDOW GLASS, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .

Continuation for all vehicles

-- Refer to ADHESIVES, GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT APPLICATION .

-- Refer to BODY FLANGE, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .

-- Pay attention to MINIMUM CURING TIMES FOR BONDED WINDOWS .

-- Apply window adhesive all around the windshield.

Dimensions for bead diameter:

• Height = 10 mm ± 1 mm
• Width = 6.5 mm ± 0.5 mm

Tip

The routing of the adhesive bead can be taken from the removed windshield.

-- Check the gap dimensions with Gauge - Gap Adjustment :3371  and at the same time pay attention to the Front gap dimensions .

-- Perform the "Windshield, Removing and Installing" functions, using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to Diagnostic Entries .
