Vehicle Electrical System Control Module J519, Removing And Installing, LHD: Removing

If the Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519- is replaced:

-- Perform the necessary function/functions with the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester . Refer to Diagnostic Entries .

-- Remove the driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to DRIVER SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the lower A-pillar trim panel. Refer to A-PILLAR LOWER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the footrest. Refer to FOOTREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Unclip the diagnostic connector with the bracket -5-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -2-, -3- and -4-.

-- Release the springs in the -direction of the arrow-.

-- Pivot the Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519- -1- out of the bracket -6- and remove it downward.
