Digital Sound System Control Module J525, Removing And Installing: Removing

If the digital sound system control module is replaced, perform the test plan for replacing the control module.

-- Perform the function "Digital sound system control module, replacing" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to Diagnostic Entries .

-- Left Luggage Compartment Side Trim Panel, Removing and Installing. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -2-.

-- Pivot out the bracket -1- with the control module.

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Release the retainers -3- and pivot out the digital sound system control module -2- in the -direction of the arrow A-.

-- Remove the control module -2- in the -direction of the arrow B- from the bracket -1-.
