Control Module, Removing And Installing, All-Wheel Drive Clutch Generation VI: Installing
-- Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
-- Coat the seals -1- and -2- lightly with oil for the all-wheel drive clutch and place it in the grooves of the All-Wheel Drive Control Module -J492-.
-- Insert the All-Wheel Drive Control Module -J492- in the all-wheel drive clutch housing and push in all the way.
-- Tighten the bolts -arrows-.
-- Connect the connector -1-.
-- Fill the all-wheel drive clutch with oil and check the oil level. Refer to ALL-WHEEL DRIVE CLUTCH OIL, DRAINING AND FILLING .
- If a new All-Wheel Drive Control Module -J492- is installed, perform a basic setting.
-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester with the vehicle.
-- Switch the ignition on.
-- Touch the "Guided Functions " field/button on the screen.
-- Select one after another on the tester:
- Brand
- Type
- Model year
- Variant
- Engine codes
- Confirm the information entered.
