Left Seals Between Bevel Box And Transmission On Bevel Box, Replacing: Installing

Installing the >>outer<< Seal.

-- Fill the space with the new seal between the sealing/dust lip -arrow- halfway with Seal Grease: G 052 128 A1  .

-- Lightly oil the new seal on the outer edge.

-- Install the seal all the way.

Installing the >>inner<< Seal.

-- Fill the space with the new seal between the sealing/dust lip -arrow- halfway with Seal Grease: G 052 128 A1  .

-- Lightly oil the new seal on the outer edge.

-- Install the seal all the way.

-- Carefully drive the stub shaft in as far as the stop using a plastic hammer.

-- Install a new circlip -1- on the stub shaft.

-- Install the bevel box. Refer to BEVEL BOX, INSTALLING .

-- Check the gear oil in the bevel box. Refer to GEAR OIL, CHECKING LEVEL .
