Component Location Overview - Components Outside Of Vehicle Interior
NOTE:
For A/C systems with refrigerant R1234yf, the desiccant bag/dryer cartridge must be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened. Refer to COMPONENTS, REPLACING .
Under certain conditions, the desiccant bag no longer needs to be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened on A/C systems with refrigerant R134a. Refer to COMPONENTS, REPLACING .
- Vehicle Interior Forced Air Extraction
- Check using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester VEHICLE INTERIOR FORCED AIR EXTRACTION, CHECKING .
- Removing and Installing. Refer to VEHICLE INTERIOR FORCED AIR EXTRACTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- A/C Humidity Sensor -G260-
- Check: via the Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519- using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function. Refer to Wiring Diagram.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to A/C Humidity Sensor -G260-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Expansion Valve
- Removing and Installing. Refer to EXPANSION VALVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Tightening specifications. Refer to SYSTEM OVERVIEW - REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .
- Desiccant Bag
- Overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - CONDENSER .
- Removing and Installing. Refer to DESICCANT BAG/DRYER CARTRIDGE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Outside Air Temperature Sensor -G17-
- Check: via the Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519- using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function. Refer to Wiring Diagram.

- Condenser
- With integrated receiver/dryer
