Refrigerant Circuit Seals
- Replace the seals after removing.
- Before installing, coat the seals with refrigerant oil on a sponge.
- Make sure the seals are positioned correctly on the pipe or in the groove.
- Check the connections at the components and the refrigerant lines for damage. Even the smallest scratch can lead to a leak.
- Ensure cleanliness when working. Even the smallest contaminant, a hair for example, can cause a leak.
- Only install seals that are resistant to refrigerant R1234yf and the corresponding refrigerant oil. Refer to Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).
- Make sure the seal -1- is seated correctly in the groove -arrow- for the respective refrigerant line.
The dimensions -a- and -b- are dependent on the component location of the seal. Refer to the Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).
