Led Headlamps With Adaptive Front Lighting System, Adjusting
Adjusting the headlamps is invoiced separately.
A vehicle with LED headlamps and adaptive front lighting system can be identified with the PR number 8IU and 8IX.
-- Perform the headlamp range control basic setting. Refer to the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester
Left Headlamp, Adjusting:
- Height adjustment
- Lateral adjustment
-- Turn the height adjustment adjusting screw -1- until the correct setting is achieved.
-- Turn the lateral adjustment adjusting screw -2- until the correct setting is achieved. The side adjustment is sealed for SAE headlamps.
Left Headlamp, Re-Checking
The headlamp is re-checked using the low beam test diagram.
The headlamp lateral adjustment may no longer be adjusted during the check. Re-adjusting the height is permitted.
-- Check the headlamp adjustment.
-- If necessary, re-adjust the headlamp height adjustment.
The right headlamp is adjusted in the same order.
The adjusting screws for the right headlamp are a mirror image.
