Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor, Removing And Installing, AWD Vehicles: Removing

• Follow the safety precautions when working on the exhaust system. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHEN WORKING ON EXHAUST SYSTEM .

-- Loosen the left center underbody trim panel toward the exhaust system and push slightly downward. Refer to OVERVIEW - UNDERBODY TRIM PANELS .

-- Remove the connector housing -1- from the bracket -2-.

-- Disconnect the connector -arrow-.

-- Free up the wires.

-- Remove the connectors -2- from the bracket and disconnect them. Then free up the wires.
