Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor, Removing And Installing, AWD Vehicles: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

• Protect the exhaust gas temperature sensor against knocks and impacts. A dropped exhaust gas temperature sensor may not be used again.

-- Bring the Pre-Particulate Filter Temperature Sensor -G506- into its installation position:

• Angle -α- = maximum 15°.

-- Bring the Post-Particulate Filter Temperature Sensor -G527- into its installation position:

• Angle -α- = maximum 15°.
