Lock Cylinder, Removing And Installing: Removing

NOTE:

The covers -4- and -6- illustrated here may have different shapes.

-- Remove the lock cylinder cap. Refer to DOOR HANDLE CAP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the cover -4- and -6-.

-- Remove the bolt -5-.

-- Remove the bolt -7- all the way.

-- Push in the bolt -7- with the locking mechanism -6- -arrow a-. Only then the lock cylinder will be released.

-- Remove the lock cylinder housing -1- from the mounting bracket -3- at a right angle -arrow b- to the door.
