Outer Window Shaft Strip, Removing And Installing: Removing

NOTE:

The outer window shaft strip has a metal insert in the center.

If it gets bent, the outer window shaft strip can longer be straightened out again. It will remain "wavy".

Removing and installing the outside window shaft strip without bending it.

-- Remove the A-pillar door trim. Refer to A-PILLAR DOOR TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Evenly sightly pry out the outer window shaft strip -1- with the Wedge :T10039/1 -3- from the door flange -2- -arrows a-. Pay attention to not bend the outer window shaft strip -1-.

-- Lift the outer window shaft strip -1- evenly off the door flange -2- -arrows b-.
