System Overview - Refrigerant Circuit

NOTE:

For A/C systems with refrigerant R1234yf, the desiccant bag/dryer cartridge must be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened. Refer to COMPONENTS, REPLACING .

Under certain conditions, the desiccant bag no longer needs to be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened on A/C systems with refrigerant R134a. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .

  1. Refrigerant Line - Low Pressure Side
  2. Refrigerant Line - High Pressure Side
  3. Refrigerant Line with Inner Heat Exchanger
  4. Expansion Valve
  5. A/C Compressor
  6. Desiccant Bag/Dryer Cartridge
  7. Condenser
  8. Refrigerant Line
  9. Nut
    • 8 Nm
  10. Bolt
    • 8 Nm
  11. Bolts
    • 4.5 Nm ± 0.5 Nm
  12. Bolts
    • 22 Nm
  13. Pressure Relief Valve on A/C Compressor
  14. Connector with A/C Compressor Regulator Valve -N280-
  15. Oil Drain Plug

    Tightening specification: 

    • Denso A/C compressor: 30 Nm
    • Sanden A/C compressor: 10 Nm
  16. Cap
  17. Bolts
    • 8 Nm
  18. High Pressure Side Service Connection
  19. Refrigerant Circuit Pressure Sensor -G805-
  20. Low Pressure Side Service Connection
