Component Location Overview - Components Outside Of Vehicle Interior

1. Vehicle Interior Forced Air Extraction
   • Check using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester Refer to VEHICLE INTERIOR FORCED AIR EXTRACTION, CHECKING .
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to VEHICLE INTERIOR FORCED AIR EXTRACTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
2. A/C Humidity Sensor -G260-
   • Check: via the Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519- using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding"  function. Refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram.
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to A/C Humidity Sensor -G260-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
3. Expansion Valve
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to EXPANSION VALVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • Tightening specification. Refer to SYSTEM OVERVIEW - REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .
4. Desiccant Bag
   • Overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - CONDENSER .
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to DESICCANT BAG/DRYER CARTRIDGE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
5. Outside Air Temperature Sensor -G17-
   • Check: via the Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519- using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding"  function. Refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram.
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to Outside Air Temperature Sensor -G17-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
6. Condenser
   • With integrated receiver/dryer
   • Overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - CONDENSER .
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to CONDENSER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
7. A/C Compressor
   • Overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - A/C COMPRESSOR .
   • Removing and installing from the bracket. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON BRACKET .
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
8. Evacuating and Charging Valve, High-Pressure Side
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to EVACUATING AND CHARGING VALVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, LOW AND HIGH PRESSURE SIDE .
9. Refrigerant Circuit Pressure Sensor -G805-
   • Check using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to Refrigerant Circuit Pressure Sensor -G805-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • 8 Nm
10. Evacuating and Charging Valve, Low Pressure Side
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to EVACUATING AND CHARGING VALVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, LOW AND HIGH PRESSURE SIDE .
11. Refrigerant Line with Inner Heat Exchanger
    • From the condenser and A/C compressor
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to REFRIGERANT LINES WITH INNER HEAT EXCHANGER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
12. Air Quality Sensor -G238-
    • Only for vehicles with Climatronic.
    • To check, use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding"  function. Refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram.
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to Air Quality Sensor -G238-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
13. Fresh Air Intake Cover
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to FRESH AIR INTAKE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
14. Fresh Air Intake
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to FRESH AIR INTAKE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
