Infotainment System Display, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment.

-- Move the ignition key outside of the vehicle to prevent the ignition from switching on unintentionally.

-- Remove the instrument panel center trim. Refer to RADIO/NAVIGATION SYSTEM FRAME, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Insert the Radio Removal Tool: T10057  in the release slots -2- of the Front Information Display Control Head -J685- -1-.

• The points at the grip eyelets of the Radio Removal Tool: T10057  must face outward.

-- Release the upper locking mechanisms -2- by pushing in the direction of the -arrow-.

-- Release the lower locking mechanisms -2- by pushing in the direction of the -arrow-.

-- Remove the Front Information Display Control Head -J685- -1-.

-- Release and disconnect the connectors.
