Vehicles Involved In Collisions, Evaluating, Basic Principles
- When servicing components on vehicles involved in collisions, damages can remain undetected.
- Undiscovered damages may lead to heavy subsequent damage in continued vehicle operation.
- Having an officially recognized expert for automotive engineering inspect the damage is recommended.
- Check the DTC memory entries using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
- If a DTC memory entry has been set, then it must be processed.
- After the repair, check the respective systems for DTC memory entries again.
