Engine/Motor Control Module J623, Removing And Installing: Removing

If the Engine/Motor Control Module -J623- is replaced, perform the test plan for replacing the control module.

-- Perform the "Control Module, Replacing" function using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to Diagnostic Entries .

-- Disconnect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the right lower A-pillar trim panel. Refer to the appropriate service information .

-- Disconnect the connectors -2-.

-- Release the bracket -1- -arrow- in the direction of the vehicle interior and remove the Engine/Motor Control Module -J623- -3-.
