Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment.

-- Move the ignition key outside of the vehicle to prevent the ignition from switching on unintentionally.

-- Remove the driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to DRIVER SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the A-pillar lower trim panel. Refer to A-PILLAR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the footrest. Refer to FOOTREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Unclip the diagnostic connection from the bracket.

-- Disconnect the connectors -2-.

-- Release the springs -3- in the direction of -arrow A-.

-- Pivot out the Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519- -1- from the bracket -4-.
