Rear Side Window, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

Undamaged Window Glass

-- Refer to Undamaged Window Glass, Preparing for Installation  .

New Window Glass

-- Refer to New Window Glass, Preparing for Installation  .

Continuation for All Vehicles

-- Refer to Body Flange, Preparing for Installation  .

-- Refer to INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR BONDED WINDOWS  .

-- Refer to Minimum Curing Times for Bonded Windows  .

-- Apply the window adhesive on the rear side window all around. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .

Dimensions for bead diameter:

• Height = 10 mm ± 1 mm
• Width = 6.5 mm ± 0.5 mm

-- Press the rear side window -1- with the clip on in the area of the C-pillar trim.

-- Guide the rear side window -1- in the direction of -arrow A- in the guide -3- and press it on.

-- Press the rear side window -1- with clips onto the C-pillar -arrow-.

Conditions

• If the rear side window -1- does not have clips, it must be aligned lengthwise at the edge of the side panel -2-.

-- Secure the rear side window -1- with commercially available adhesive tape.

-- Check the body gap dimensions using the Gauge - Gap Adjustment:3371  . For this, pay attention to the appropriate Service Information.
