Condensation Water Drain, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Disconnect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the center console. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fold back the carpet as far as possible until the condensation water drain is accessible.

-- Cover the area under the condensation water drain with waterproof foil and absorbent paper.

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging the airbag control module. If moisture enters the connectors, they will corrode.

- After disconnecting, cover or seal the control module connectors to prevent moisture from entering.

-- Disconnect the connector from the Airbag Control Module -J234-.

-- Cover the Airbag Control Module -J234- and connector with waterproof foil and absorbent paper.

-- Cut the cable tie -1-.

-- Remove the condensation water drain -2- from the heater and A/C unit -3-.

-- Remove the condensation water drain -1- from the body -4-.
