Telematics Emergency Battery -A16-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

If the emergency battery is replaced, the test plan for replacing the emergency battery must be performed.

-- Perform the function "Telematics emergency battery, replacing" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to Diagnostic Entries .

-- Remove the control module. Refer to Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit J949, Removing and Installing  .

-- Remove the bolt -2-.
