Mounting Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the subframe. Refer to SUBFRAME, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
On the door handle with lock cylinder
-- Remove the lock cylinder. Refer to LOCK CYLINDER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
On the door handle without lock cylinder
-- Remove the door handle. Refer to DOOR HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Guide the drift punch -8- in the center all the way in the housing -4- -arrow b-, until the hook releases.
-- Connect the Window Release Tool: T10236 -item 7- between the housing -4- and backing plate -3- -arrow a-.
-- Pry out the housing -4- using the Window Release Tool: T10236 -item 7-.
Continuation for all door handles
-- Remove the bolt -5- and the washer -6-.
-- Unclip the wire from the mounting bracket -1-.
-- Remove the mounting bracket -1- from the door -arrow d-.
Release Cable, Detaching
-- Unclip the release cable -2- from the catch.
-- Lift the pin for the release cable out of the mount in the mounting bracket -arrow c-.
-- Remove the release cable -2- from the mounting bracket -1- -arrow d-.
