Center Console Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the center console. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Front Bracket

-- Push the carpet near the front bracket -2- to the side.

-- Loosen the cover -1- on the front bracket -2- and remove it.

-- Loosen the front bracket -2- upward -arrow- from the locking mechanism of the tunnel -3-.

Securing Bracket

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Release and disconnect the connectors.

-- Slide the securing bracket -1- to the left in direction of travel and remove upward -arrow-.

Switch Bracket

-- Remove the air duct. Refer to OVERVIEW - AIR ROUTING AND AIR DISTRIBUTION IN VEHICLE INTERIOR .

-- Loosen the nuts -2-.

-- Remove the center console bracket -1- with the insulation.
