Belt Pulley, Removing And Installing, DENSO A/C Compressor: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

Vehicles with 2.0L TFSI Engine

-- Loosen the clamps -1- and -2-.

-- Remove the air duct hose.

Continuation for all vehicles

-- Remove the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the closure cap -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-. To do so counterhold with an oil filter mounting strap.

-- Remove the nut -2-. While doing so, counterhold at the A/C compressor input shaft -1-.

-- Remove the drive plate -3- with the nut -2-.

Conditions

-- Remove the circlip -2-.

-- Remove the belt pulley -1-.
