Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Loosen the left center underbody trim panel to the exhaust system and push it slightly downward. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - UNDERBODY TRIM PANELS .

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Remove the connector -1- in the direction of -arrow-.

-- Loosen the front heat shield in the area of the bracket -2-. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - HEAT SHIELD .

-- Free up the wire.

-- Remove the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 - G495- -arrow- with a suitable tool from the Diesel Engine Tool Set: T10395B  .
