SUBFRAME, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Insert the subframe -1- at an angle upward in the door -arrow a-.

-- Pull the release cable with the grommet -8- carefully through the opening in the subframe -1-. Make sure the grommet is seated correctly.

-- Push the subframe -1- securely on the door until the seal correctly contacts.

-- Press the clips -7- in the subframe -1-.

-- Turn the clips -7- approximately 90° -arrow d-.

-- Tighten the bolts -4-.

-- Secure the door window -3-. Refer to FRONT DOOR WINDOW, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Connect the wiring harnesses.

-- Connect the connectors.

-- Apply the sticker -5-.

-- Push the caps -2- in the subframe -1-.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Before installing perform a function test of the door trim panel.
