-- Remove the protective mat from the front center console storage compartment.

CAUTION:

Risk of damage to component surfaces by sharp levering tools.

- Tape off the visible area of the component with commercially available tape, before using a levering tool.

-- Pry out the Telephone Baseplate -R126- -1- using a commercially available plastic wedge and remove, until the connector is accessible.

-- Disconnect the connector.
