Seam Sealing
Sealing
-- Apply sealant.
Fine Seam Sealing
-- For fine seam sealing, the sealing compound must project at least 3 mm and a height of 2 mm must be ensured.
Coarse Seam Sealing
-- For coarse seam sealing, the projection of the sealing compound must be a total of 20 mm and a height of 2 mm must be ensured.
Smoothing the Seal
-- The designated area must be smoothed after applying sealant.
Make sure that the protected areas do not become uncovered when smoothing the seam seal. A PVC layer that is thick enough must cover the panel.
Spreading the Seal
-- After applying the sealant the specified areas must be spread.
When spreading, pay attention that the protecting panel edges are not exposed and a sufficiently thick PVC layer covers the panel.
Sealing Fold Areas
-- After applying the sealant to a folded loop, these marked areas must be sealed.
Make sure that the protected areas do not become uncovered when spreading the seal seam. A thick enough layer of PVC must cover the area, so that the fold area remains sealed.
