ATF Lines From Transmission To Adapter, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Lift the vehicle, all four mounts from lifting platform at the same height.
-- Move the selector lever to >>P<<.
-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING - 4 CYL or AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING - 6 CYL .
-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- from the thermostat -2- and adapter -3-.
-- Disconnect and remove the ATF lines -1-.
-- Seal the connections on the thermostat and adapter with suitable plugs taken from the Engine Bung Set:VAS6122 .
