Seals And Gaskets

- After removing gaskets and seals, always inspect the contact surfaces on the housing or shaft for burrs or damage resulting from removal.
- Before installing the seals, lightly oil the outer diameter and fill the space between the sealing lips -arrow- halfway with Sealing Grease :G 052 128 A1
.
- The open side of the gaskets point toward the fluid to be sealed in.
- Only use DSG®
transmission fluid. Other lubricants cause malfunctions.
- Check the oil level in the all wheel drive clutch after replacing gaskets, O-rings and seals.
