Bolts And Nuts

- Loosen and tighten the bolts and nuts on the covers or housings in a diagonal sequence.
- Tightening specifications for non-lubricated bolts and nuts are given.
- Clean the threads of the bolts that were installed with locking fluid using a wire brush. Install the bolts with Locking Fluid :AMV 185 101 A1
.
- The threaded holes in which the self-locking bolts or bolts coated with locking fluid were installed must be cleaned (for example, with a thread tap). Otherwise, there is a risk that the bolts break off during assembly.
- Always replace self-locking nuts and bolts.
