ATF Lines From Adapter To ATF Cooler, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Lift the vehicle, all four mounts from lifting platform at the same height.

-- Move the selector lever to >>P<<.

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

-- Remove the front bumper. Refer to OVERVIEW - LOCK CARRIER .

-- Remove the radiator shutter. Refer to RADIATOR SHUTTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (2.0L) or RADIATOR SHUTTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (3.6L) .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- from the ATF cooler -2- and adapter -3- and remove the ATF lines -1-.

-- Remove the ATF lines -1- from the radiator and adapter -arrows- and remove.

-- Seal the connections on the radiator and adapter with suitable plugs taken from the Engine Bung Set: VAS6122  .

The ATF lines -2- remain installed.
