Bevel Box, Differentiating

The bevel boxes "0CN" or "0FN" can be installed in the vehicle.

The bevel boxes can be differentiated as follows:

Differentiation: Bevel box installed:

The bevel box is identified by a cut-out -arrow- near the right area of the subframe.

If necessary remove the following components:

-- Noise insulation. Refer to Noise Insulation .

-- Center underbody trim panel. Refer to UNDERBODY TRIM PANELS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

The area indicated by the -arrow- has either the "0CN" or "0FN" designation.

Additional differentiation: bevel box removed:

The output flange on the "0CN" bevel box is secured with a nut -A-. See the Overview - Bevel Box, "0CN". Refer to OVERVIEW - BEVEL BOX COMPONENTS .

Ignore -B- and -arrows-.

The output flange on the bevel box "0FN" is secured with a circlip -A- → Overview - Bevel Box "0FN". Refer to OVERVIEW - BEVEL BOX COMPONENTS .

A washer -B- is located behind the circlip -A-.
