Fender, Removing And Installing: Notes

Removing

NOTE:

The following describes the removal and installation of the left fender. Removing and installing the right fender is identical.

-- Remove the front wheel housing liner. Refer to FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the headlamps. Refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the plenum chamber cover. Refer to PLENUM CHAMBER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the hex nuts -3- and then remove the guide -4-.

-- Remove the double bolts -5-.

-- Remove the bolts -2 and 6-.

-- Carefully remove the fender -1- with the A-pillar end panel.

If necessary, the A-pillar end panel can now be removed. Refer to A-Pillar End Panel .

NOTE:

The Zinc Spacer:AKL 381 035 50 -7- (if present) will be damaged during the removal.
