Without Test Stand For AWD Vehicles

NOTE:

If a test stand for AWD vehicles is not available, a brake inspection can also be performed on a standard one-axle roller test stand as follows:

-- Drive the vehicle forward onto the rollers.

-- Turn off the engine and wait two seconds.

-- Perform the brake inspection.

-- Start the engine and wait approximately five seconds until there is enough vacuum.

-- Drive the vehicle forward until the rear wheels are standing on the rollers.

-- Turn off the engine and wait two seconds.

-- Perform the brake inspection for the rear brakes.

-- Start the engine and wait approximately five seconds until there is enough vacuum.
