Engine, Identification
- The engine code consists of the "engine code" and "serial number" and is located at the joint of engine/transmission -2- as well as on a sticker -1- on top of the timing chain cover.
- The first three positions of the engine code describe the mechanical engine structure. The fourth position represents the engine output and torque and is dependent on the engine/motor control module.
