Overview - EVAP System, Without Fuel Tank Leak Detection

1. EVAP Canister
   • Versions with lower line connections
   • Component location: in the right rear wheel housing under the wheel housing liner
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to EVAP CANISTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • Ventilation, Checking. Refer to FUEL TANK BLEEDING, CHECKING, VEHICLES WITHOUT FUEL TANK LEAK DETECTION .
2. EVAP Canister
   • Versions with upper and lower line connections
   • Component location: in the right rear wheel housing under the wheel housing liner
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to EVAP CANISTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • Ventilation, Checking. Refer to FUEL TANK BLEEDING, CHECKING, VEHICLES WITHOUT FUEL TANK LEAK DETECTION .
3. Bleeder Line
   • To the EVAP Canister Purge Regulator Valve 1 -N80-
   • Clipped in the fuel tank
   • Ventilation, Checking. Refer to FUEL TANK BLEEDING, CHECKING, VEHICLES WITHOUT FUEL TANK LEAK DETECTION .
   • To disconnect, press the release button on the connecting piece
   • The connector couplings must audibly engage.
   • Pull on the connector couplings to check them for secure fit.
   • Open the quick-release coupling. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS, DISCONNECTING .
   • On connection -M-
4. Bleeder Line
   • From the fuel tank
   • To disconnect, press the release button on the connecting piece
   • The connector couplings must audibly engage.
   • Pull on the connector couplings to check them for secure fit.
   • Open the quick-release coupling. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS, DISCONNECTING .
   • Ventilation, Checking. Refer to FUEL TANK BLEEDING, CHECKING, VEHICLES WITHOUT FUEL TANK LEAK DETECTION .
   • On connection -T-
5. Cap
   • On vent connection -A-
6. Bolt
   • 20 Nm
