Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Coat the threads with hot bolt paste.

Hot Bolt Paste

Refer to the appropriate Electronic Parts Information.

-- Bring the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495- into the installation position:

Requirement

• Angle -α- = maximum 15°.

-- Bring the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 4 -G648- into the installation position:
