-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment.

-- Move the ignition key outside of the vehicle to prevent switching on the ignition unintentionally.

-- Remove the center console insert. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE INSERT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the storage compartment with the interface -1- from the front center console storage compartment in the direction of -arrow-.
