Window Guide, Removing And Installing: Installing
-- Spray the window guide with soapy water to make it easier to install.
-- Insert the corner of the C-pillar at the top in direction of -arrow c-. Push the window guide -1- onto the door flange in direction of -arrow b- at the same time.
-- Push the half-installed clip -3- into the hole in the door inner panel until the clip is at least flush with the molded part.
-- Push the molded corner at the top of the B-pillar onto the door flange.
-- Install the B-pillar trim. Refer to REAR DOOR B-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Push the window guide -1- in the area of the B-pillar into the B-pillar trim in direction of -arrow b-.
-- Install the door window. Refer to REAR DOOR WINDOW, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Install the C-pillar profile working downward in direction of -arrow b-.
-- Install the C-pillar trim. Refer to DOOR C-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Install the window guide -1- into the C-pillar trim and into the window shaft on the C-pillar.
-- Fold up the sealing lip on the window guide from the inside starting from the B-pillar up to the door flange in direction of -arrow d-.
If the vehicle is equipped accordingly, install the decorative strip. Refer to REAR WINDOW GUIDE TRIM MOLDING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Make sure the window guide -1- fits evenly when installing it (wind noises).
Further installation is the reverse order of removal.
